Spanish Pork Chops

4 bone-in pork chops

1 tsp salt
·
3/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
·
1 jar Organicville mushroom marinara sauce
·
2 TB brown sugar
·
1 TB chili powder
·
1 tsp. salt
·
cooked rice or cooked potatoes (optional)
Preheat oven
to 350'. Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Combine brown sugar, chili
powder and salt in a small bowl; set aside. Heat an oven-proof pan on
medium-high heat.
Sear pork
chops on both sides, about 4 minutes per side. While in the pan, rub the brown
sugar mixture on both sides of the pork chops and add the jar of marinara sauce
to pan.
Place pan in oven and cook for about 40 minutes, or until pork chops are done.
Place pork chops over rice or potatoes and spoon sauce over. Serves 4.
